It was not. What I had written was that I am a Colvin decended from Albert Leslie Colvin (my grandfather) who was born about 1900 and lived in Oklahoma and Arkansas before coming to Bakersfield, California during the dust bowl of the 1930s. He was married to Rose Lee (Baker) from Arkansas. They were poor sharecroppers and had seven children, Jack, Mary Jo, Albert Ray, James, Don, Betty, and June. Jack and Ray (my father) have both passed away, but James is in San Angelo, TX., Mary Jo is in Roswell, New Mexico, Don, is in California somewhere (not sure), Betty is in Nashville, TN., and June is in Roswell, New Mexico. Their kids including me are scattered across the country, but mostly in Bakerfield, San Angelo, and Nashville area. I am always interested in knowing more about the Colvin family.
